For three years, my conceptual designs
and creative use of typography appeared on
features section
fronts and special sections of the Star Tribune daily
newspaper in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As a features
designer,
I not only produced pages but also enjoyed creating
my own illustrations and taking my own photographs.
The above work received nine awards from the Society
for
News Design
plus awards
from
the
Minnesota Associated Press Association
and the Minnesota Society of Professional Journalists.
